Ромарио забил тысячный, по его собственным подсчетам, гол.

Во втором туре чемпионата Бразилии на 47-й минуте поединка со "Спорт Ресифе" форвард "Васко да Гама" забил третий мяч, а итоговый счет 3:1 в пользу команды Ромарио.

Добавим, что бразильский суперфорвард в апреле отказался переходить в мексиканский клуб "Некаха", подчеркнув, что собирается забить юбилейный мяч в составе своего первого клуба "Васко да Гама", по возможности, на стадионе "Маракана". И свое слово Ромарио сдержал!

При этом статистики подвергают сомнению количество забитых Ромарио мячей, отмечая, что футболист считает голы на уровне юношеских команд и контрольных матчей. По мнению специалистов, Ромарио забил на 246 мячей меньше, чем посчитал сам 41-летний бомбардир.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear."
